This vessel, apparently a 58-person emergency escape craft, appeared moored alongside the Confiance on the Lagan in mid-September.

... and its "Distress Orange" was subsumed by "Beatles' Submarine Yellow" by the 16th. Presumably this choice of colour is linked to the addition of the submarine tower and "periscope" on the upperworks.
Still a trace of orange around the waterline if you look closely.
The Beatles film "Yellow Submarine" was released in 1968 so perhaps this is intended for a 45th-anniversary tribute. Or something.
