Wood Pigeon Resting

I mounted the 5D on an LXD75 reflector telescope; 752mm focal length at f/5. Subject was at about 18 metres distance, so that gave me around 20mm of depth-of-field for focusing which required about 30 shots to nail!

Every time he rotated his head or moved he dropped-out of the DoF and I had to refocus!
