The County Down Traction club had organised an Easter tractor run at Clandeboye Estate, though poorly advertised as we noticed only a small bland notice in the Chronicle two weeks prior.
The attendees started to assemble from about 12:00 on Tueday, many of them passing up the road past our house.
Here is a dainty little Massey 135 with bench-equipped trailer and splendid orange 'driving' gloves...
... whereas this pampered example rode on a trailer.
A fairly rare Zetor 3511. Completely different shade of red compared to the Massey!
Marshall 704 XL ( nice piece of kit, formerly Leyland before they sold their agriculture arm to Marshall ).
We hiked our way up through the forest to the Estate but arrived just too late, the run having departed into the depths of Clandeboye! Having picnicked we returned home, just in time to see many of the tractors heading back to their tractor-beds.
A Massey 35 being stoked along, but not fast enough for the Panda driver abaft...
